ABOUT FETCH DOG WALKERS

Since I can remember I’ve always had animals in my life! I was born in Auckland and grew up with dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, plenty of tropical fish, turtles – the list goes on! I use to love spending my school holidays working on a farm in Waihi. We’ve been delivering dog walking and boarding services since we opened our doors in 2005. Our goal has always been to provide exceptional customer service that is professional, customer focused, convenient and exceeds expectations.

Kate is our dedicated Operations Manager with a lifelong passion for rescue animals, having grown up surrounded by them. With a background in pharmacology, Kate brings a methodical approach to her work, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at our dog walking company. Her love for animals, combined with her extensive administrative experience, makes her an invaluable asset to the team, ensuring every aspect of our business runs efficiently.

Over 15 years of professional experience in the dog industry. Originally from Guatemala, Kat pursued her passion for animal behaviour by studying at the University of Hawaii. She has since worked in various roles, managing dog facilities that offer a range of services, including training. Her extensive background in animal behaviour and facility management makes her the perfect fit to oversee both training and development programs, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for all dogs and staff in our services.

Emily comes to the FETCH Team with a happy and go loving personality. She has experience with many different animals and working with horses in the Ranches she definitely knows what each personality of dogs need. Em is excited to be starting this new venture of work after finishing her studies and is pumped to give your dogs the best time and experience while out on their FETCH adventures.

Sami has had a wide variety of experience with animals. Growing up with lots of family dogs, big and small, she found a passion with them and went straight into working with dogs. Sami loves staying fit and healthy and will really give your dogs a good run in a happy and safe place.

Jasmin is a passionate animal lover from the UK who has dedicated much of her time to volunteering at animal rescues in Asia. Through her hands-on experience, she gained invaluable knowledge in caring for dogs and supporting rescue missions. Now, with her working visa in hand, Jasmin has brought her skills and enthusiasm to New Zealand, where she is excited to offer professional dog walking services. Her dedication to providing the best care for every dog she meets makes her a perfect addition to our team!

Jordan is excited to join FETCH Dog Walking, bringing with him a love for dogs and a strong background in animal care. As a proud owner of two Staffy crosses, Albert and Harley, he understands the joys and challenges of dog ownership. With experience working on a dairy farm, Jordan is no stranger to hard work and caring for animals. His partner, a former FETCH walker, introduced him to the community, and he’s eager to contribute to FETCH’s mission of providing quality care for every dog.

Xanthe has joined us with a love of all animals and outdoors. She has experience with teaching equestrian to young kids and showed them how to love and care for them. She has also worked with racehorses, feeding, watering and caring for each and everyone of them including the sick and injured. She is bringing that same enthusiasm, love and care to the FETCH team and to your pooches. Her dream is to become a vet nurse so she can always be surrounded by animals and to love and care for them like they are her own.

Piper is an experienced animal lover with a lifelong passion for caring for animals of all sizes. She has worked extensively with horses and has owned large dogs throughout her life, giving her a calm, confident presence around even the most energetic pups. Whether it’s a gentle stroll or an active adventure, Piper ensures every dog walk is safe, fun, and full of tail wags.

Katie recently joined our dog walking crew after moving to New Zealand from the UK. She holds an Integrated Master’s degree in Biology from Oxford University, where she focused on animal behaviour. Coming from a family of dog lovers, Katie has owned a Kelpie x Border Collie and helped her family rescue Greyhounds. She’s passionate about nature and loves anything to do with the water — from swimming to scuba diving and exploring the outdoors.

Dani moved to New Zealand from the UK at the start of 2025 and has always loved being around dogs. Back home, she spent lots of time dog walking and pet sitting, and she is excited to keep doing the same here. She is an outdoorsy person who loves hiking, travelling, and hitting the gym — so your furry friend will always have great company for an adventure!

Zoe is a qualified veterinary nurse with over four years of experience working with animals of all kinds. A lifelong animal lover, she volunteered at the SPCA from the age of 14 to 18 and has owned German Shepherds, Mastiffs, and other large breeds. Passionate about animal care and the outdoors, Zo loves staying active through sports, the gym, and spending time in nature with dogs by her side.
